Skin rejuvenation is not one treatment and it should not be approached as one-size-fits-all care. I begin by looking at what is actually creating the concern: laxity, fine lines, scars, uneven texture, redness, visible vessels, sun damage, or pigmentation.
OPUS Plasma uses fractional plasma and radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and remodel the skin. It may be selected when firmness, wrinkles, texture, acne scars, surgical scars, or stretch marks are priorities. Treatment depth and intensity are adjusted for your skin, goals, and available recovery time.
Sometimes OPUS is the right answer. Sometimes a different treatment—or a carefully spaced combination—will better support the result you want.
AFTERCARE
Protect Your Skin While It Heals
Recovery varies with the treatment depth and intensity. Temporary redness, warmth, swelling, sensitivity, dryness, flaking, or pinpoint crusting may occur. Keep the area clean and moisturized exactly as directed, and do not pick, scratch, scrub, or prematurely remove peeling or crusting skin.
Avoid direct sun exposure and use the recommended broad-spectrum sunscreen once your skin is ready. Do not restart exfoliants, retinoids, waxing, depilatory creams, or other irritating treatments until you have been cleared to do so.
Contact the office if you develop unexpected or increasing pain, blistering, drainage, marked swelling, fever, or another symptom that concerns you. Your written instructions may be more specific than this overview and should always guide your recovery.
