TREATMENT GUIDANCE
Clear, practical answers about candidacy, preparation, treatment, recovery, and aftercare.
Cost varies with the peel formula and depth, treatment area, number of treatments recommended, and any related aftercare. Because the safest plan is individualized, current pricing is provided after an evaluation and treatment recommendation.
Peel selection is individualized according to the concern being treated, skin tone and type, health history, previous treatments, expected downtime, and risk of pigment change. Superficial and deeper peels have different benefits and recovery needs. A trained licensed provider should select the formula and depth after evaluating your skin.
Chemical peels use a controlled chemical exfoliation process. Other resurfacing options may use microneedling, light, laser, plasma, or other device-based approaches. The best option depends on the concern being treated, skin tone and type, medical history, desired downtime, and personal goals. An evaluation helps determine the safest and most appropriate approach.
Recovery depends on the depth and formula of the peel. Temporary redness, tightness, dryness, and flaking can occur. Follow the aftercare plan provided, use recommended moisturizer and sun protection, and do not pick or peel the skin. Contact the practice if symptoms are worsening or unexpected.
